⚡ Yuniti
Know your units.
Yuniti is a WhatsApp coach for prepaid (UEDCL Light / Yaka) electricity users in Uganda. Paste your token SMS or send a screenshot, and Yuniti explains what your money bought: units, the monthly service fee, VAT and the cheap (lifeline) units. It shows how to get more power for the same money.
What Yuniti does
- Explains each token receipt in plain language
- Shows money lost by buying at the wrong time, and the best amount to buy each month
- Estimates when your units will run out, and sends a short reminder at the start of each month (you can turn reminders off any time by sending STOP)
- Warns about scams, such as fake "UEDCL" merchant codes
Yuniti is independent. It is not UEDCL, ERA, MTN or Airtel, and is not affiliated with them. Yuniti does not sell electricity tokens.
